Cyclone Michaung | As Andhra Pradesh prepares for landfall, coastal Tamil Nadu braces for heavy rain.

The Met Office predicts that a depression will develop into Cyclone Michaung by December 4, with landfall in Andhra Pradesh on December 5; preparations for rescue, relief, and evacuation efforts are underway.

As a deep depression intensified over the Bay of Bengal, moving northwest and likely to evolve into Cyclone Michaung by December 3 morning, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu prepared for heavy rainfall in their coastal districts. Winds of 80 to 90 kmph with gusts of up to 100 kmph are expected, according to the India Meteorological Department on December 2.

Disaster relief efforts are underway along the coast, with state and national teams on the ground and naval forces in the region on standby. Fishermen have been advised not to go out to sea, and 144 trains have been cancelled. In Andhra Pradesh, relief camps are being established, and plans are being made to evacuate coastal areas if necessary.

On December 2, 2023, fishermen at Jalaripeta fishing colony in Visakhapatnam relocate their boats to safety in anticipation of Cyclone Michaung.

The storm made landfall on December 5th.

Deep depression prevailed over the southwest Bay of Bengal in December, about 420 kilometres southeast of Chennai. The cyclonic storm is expected to reach the waters off southern Andhra Pradesh and adjoining north Tamil Nadu by December 4 morning, and then move parallel to the coast, making landfall between Nellore and Machilipatnam a day later, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai.

Candied Thoughts Into Rubina Dilaik's Pregnancy Journey

Pic Credit: Rubina Dilaik Instagram

New Delhi: Rubina Dilaik, a soon-to-be mother, has been marking the days until the arrival of her first child—or rather, babies. In her most recent vlog, Rubina informed her followers that she and her husband, Abhinav Shukla, are expecting TWINS. Yes, you read correctly! The actress elaborated on her happy news of being pregnant with twins, Abhinav Shukla's reaction, and other topics in her most recent vlog.

The following is what Rubina Dilaik informs her fans:

In her most recent vlog, Rubina Dilaik shared the amazing news: "I wish to share with you that we are expecting twins." She said she wanted to talk about the challenges she faced, the experiences she had, and her journey through her twin pregnancies. In the ninth month of her pregnancy, Rubina shared with her fans how she and Abhinav learned she was expecting twins.

Rubina discusses the initial trimester:

Rubina talked about how the first trimester was challenging because they couldn't tell their close friends their good news. She explained that they wanted to be medically certain within the first three months that their twins were healthy and alive before they could break the news. "Only I know how those three months have been," she said. According to the well-known Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, the doctor cautioned them that there is a slight increase in complications with multiple pregnancies and that everything needs to be done extremely carefully.

Rubina says the first three months are critical because that's when miscarriages happen most frequently. She acknowledged that these were the thoughts she was having. They eventually found out that their twins were doing well when Rubina completed her scan three months later. She mentioned that she and Abhinav were relieved to be back following this scan.

Reflecting on those three months, Rubina talked about how difficult it was to work while battling eating disorders, mood swings, nausea, and other problems. Because she is a twin, Rubina revealed, her gynaecologists had warned her that she would have to deal with a little bit more of this.

Rubina Discussed The Risks And Difficulties:

According to Rubina, it is impossible for her to compare the ease of a single pregnancy to that of a twin pregnancy. The Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 actress stated that four to five months later, she started having back issues. She stated that she has been following a strict diet because high blood pressure and gestational diabetes are quite common.

Rubina disclosed that she follows a rigorous diet. She also disclosed that, in contrast to the usual pregnancy schedule of seeing a doctor once a month, she now sees one every fifteen days to ensure the health of both developing babies. She stated that she is easily fatigued and had never experienced this feeling prior to becoming pregnant.

Preterm birth is one of the disadvantages of twin pregnancies, according to Rubina. She explained that if the natural pregnancy carried on for 39 weeks, there was a chance the twins would be born after 37 weeks. She explained that in a preterm birth, there's a chance that organs won't develop, so extra care is required. She admitted that these thoughts troubled her all the time.

Rubina disclosed that she has begun to perspire excessively and gets tired easily due to her constant high body temperature. She revealed that she had lowered her body temperature over the course of 1.5 months by taking cold showers and three-to-four-foot soaks.

Since she opened up about the difficulties she had while pregnant, Rubina Dilaik has inspired countless mothers all over the world with her strength and fortitude. Dilaik's candour in sharing the mental and physical challenges she faced has spurred a much-needed discussion about the frequently taboo subjects of pregnancy. In addition to shattering the false expectations associated with motherhood, her journey has encouraged a sense of solidarity among women who might be going through similar things.

According to an official, Delhi Police and the forest department have sent at least 40 officers to the area.

Magnitude 7.5 earthquake hits southern Philippines, triggering a tsunami warning

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 struck Mindanao, Philippines, on Saturday. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 63 km (39 miles), and tsunamis were predicted to strike Japan and the Philippines soon after.

The waves might reach the Philippines by midnight (1600 GMT), according to the Philippine Seismology Agency Phivolcs, and they might last for hours.

There could be waves up to three metres above the tide line along some Philippine coasts, according to the U.S. Tsunami Warning System.

Phivolcs asked residents residing close to the coast of the provinces of Surigao Del Sur and Davao Oriental to "move farther inland" or "immediately evacuate," adding that "boats already at sea during this period should stay offshore in deep waters until further advised."

By 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, or around 30 minutes later, tsunami waves of up to one metre were predicted to reach Japan's southwest coast, according to the Japanese broadcaster NHK (1630 GMT on Saturday).

Although Phivolcs warned of aftershocks, it stated that it did anticipate significant damage from the tremor itself.

The coastal town of Hinatuan, which is close to the epicentre of the earthquake, has lost power since the earthquake struck, but disaster response teams have not yet reported any casualties or damage, according to Raymark Gentallan, the local police chief.

Not at all! Here's why pomegranates and beetroot aren't the body's greatest sources of iron.

Generally speaking, 10 mg of iron should be consumed daily. Considering that a lot of people advise including pomegranates and beetroot in their diet. Furthermore, because of their red colour, they are said to be beneficial for treating iron deficiency anaemia by boosting blood levels in the body.

However, nutritionist Juhi Kapoor emphasised that these aren't the ideal iron sources.

The idea that pomegranates and beetroot are excellent providers of iron is a common misconception. Actually, pomegranates and beetroot have very little iron (0.31% and 0.76 mg/gram, respectively), making them poor sources of the mineral, according to Kapoor.

She added that the deep red colour has nothing to do with the iron content of the material because it is primarily caused by natural pigments or polyphenols.

Likewise Senior consultant physician Dr. Dilip Gude of Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad revealed that beetroot has a high vitamin A content, often exceeding the daily recommended intake. Because vitamin A is fat-soluble, there may be a persistent build-up of excess that the body finds difficult to get rid of. High beetroot concentrations have the potential to lower blood pressure and trigger mild allergic reactions. Furthermore, Dr Gude stated that the high calcium oxalate content of beetroots may hinder the absorption of calcium, raise the risk of kidney stones, and upset the stomach.

There are two kinds of iron in food.

1) Heme: present in poultry, fish, and meat. According to Kalra, the body absorbs it easily. Thirty percent of it is absorbed on average, according to Kalra.

2) Non-heme iron is present in nuts, fruits, and vegetables. However, the iron in these foods won't be fully absorbed. usually only absorbed by the body in amounts of 2–10%, according to Kalra.

But keep in mind that this does not imply that pomegranates and beetroot won't assist you in producing iron. Nutritionist Prerrna Kalra said, "It will help you make red blood cells, but it will help you slowly."

Which are the finest places to get iron?

Organ meats, such as liver and other seafood, are among the best sources of iron. Dr. Gude stated, "Meat products like chicken, lamb, oysters, mussels, and clams are excellent sources of dietary iron."

Broccoli, string beans, dark leafy greens (dandelion, collard, kale, and spinach), eggs, beans, nuts, peas, lentils, and tofu are all high in iron and highly recommended, according to Dr. Gude. "These foods are highly recommended because they contain at least three times the recommended dietary allowance of iron than pomegranates and beetroot," Dr. Gude stated.

What should you remember? When consuming foods high in iron, remember to also include foods high in vitamin C, such as tomatoes, citrus fruits, and red and yellow bell peppers, as these foods improve the absorption of iron.

After an all-night search of the ED's Madurai office, Tamil Nadu police report finding "incriminating" documents.

Ankit Tiwari, an Enforcement Directorate (ED) officer who was detained on Friday, is the subject of an alleged bribery case. The Tamil Nadu Police wrapped up a protracted search operation on Saturday morning.

Tiwari was posted at the ED office in Madurai, and the officer's home was also searched by the Tamil Nadu Police's Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC). Searches continued until six in the morning on Saturday, and authorities reported finding evidence of incrimination.

Prominent state government sources stated they would rebuff requests to transfer the investigation to a federal agency.

Tiwari was detained early on Friday morning on suspicion of accepting a bribe from a government physician. In a late-night press release, the DVAC said that Tiwari had gotten in touch with him on October 29, 2023, citing a 2018 case involving disproportionate assets against the government doctor that the DVAC's Dindigul district branch had already resolved. According to the DVAC statement, Tiwari purportedly stated that he had received orders to reopen the investigation from the Prime Minister's Office.

Officials claim that after the doctor was called to the ED office in Madurai on October 30, Tiwari allegedly forced him into a car and demanded a bribe of Rs 3 crore to stop the police from taking action. The doctor eventually agreed to accept Rs 51 lakh. It is purported that the first installment of Rs 20 lakh was delivered on November 1. Following the doctor's complaint to the DVAC, an operation was conducted, which resulted in Tiwari's arrest.

This occurs in the midst of the ED reopening a number of cases that the DVAC previously handled. State and DMK government ministers are involved in the majority of these cases. Minister V Senthil Balaji was arrested and imprisoned as a result of one such case.

The DVAC statement claims that during searches conducted after Tiwari's arrest, authorities found documents purportedly indicating Tiwari's potential involvement in threatening or blackmailing other officials with similar methods. According to the statement, more investigations are being conducted.

A DVAC representative commented on the search at the ED's Madurai office, saying: "At first, they said we cannot search and asked us to wait for permission. However, they consented after we showed them the warrant and made it clear that we were only there to search Tiwari's office. The Chennai office of the ED now has more security.

Khushi Kapoor claims that because she was exposed to social media at an early age, she no longer "overthinks" it: "I'm no longer sensitive to a lot of it."

Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, is scheduled to debut in Bollywood in the upcoming Zoya Akhtar film The Archies. Khushi, who is currently occupied with movie promotion, has disclosed that she was exposed to the negative aspects of social media at a very young age. Khushi disclosed that, in contrast to before, she no longer takes anything personally and has learned to stop overanalyzing.

"Unfortunately, I think I was exposed to a lot of it (Social media) from a very young age, so I've been kind of desensitised to a lot of it," Khushi stated in an interview with NDTV. When you read something, you develop the ability to tell whether it is the result of someone else's insecurity or not. I've since learned not to take things so personally. I don't really think things through and analyse them as much as I used to. My ability to distinguish it now has been aided by my early exposure to it. Since I know their opinions are coming from a better place, I value them more than those of others who mean more to me.

In the next movie, Khushi is portrayed as Betty Cooper. "What did Betty teach you about yourself?" was the question posed. "I think to be kinder to myself," the actor stated. She's a really tender and perceptive girl, and I believe she also taught me how to treat myself better. I have a tendency to put a lot of weight and strain on myself in everything. She kind of taught me to be kinder to myself and to put less pressure on myself throughout the shoot.

Suhana Khan acknowledges she's not very good at handling criticism on social media, and Zoya Akhtar refers to her as a "vulnerable princess."

Suhana Khan is all set to make her film debut in Zoya Akhtar's teen musical comedy The Archies. (Image: Suhana Khan/Instagram)

Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, will be making her screen debut on December 7 in Zoya Akhtar's teen musical comedy The Archies. Suhana recently acknowledged in an interview that, despite her mother being an avid fan, she had never read Archie Comics when she was first offered the role. The love triangle was, of course, the only thing I knew about it. Finding out about all the other characters was incredibly cool after reading the script and the comics, she said in an NDTV interview.

Suhana plays the keyboardist and one of the three vocalists for the rock band The Archies, Veronica Lodge, a major character in the comics written by Ayesha Devitre Dhillon, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar. Suhana said, "Zoya was what drew me in," in response to a question concerning what drew her to the role. It's an opportunity that you simply cannot pass up, particularly for your first movie. I considered myself to be a girl who aspired to be like Veronica.

"She is a very vulnerable princess," Zoya said in response to a question about why she cast Suhana as Veronica. Veronica goes by Ronnie, and I intended her to be extremely vulnerable. She is a princess; she doesn't have to try.

When asked what she would like to see change in the world, Suhana said, "I truly envied her self-confidence and the way she loved herself," expressing her admiration for Veronica's self-assurance. There have been moments when I've felt unconfident, and all I want is to give young girls confidence. In a world where there is so much scrutiny on social media and you feel so low about your looks and whatever else it may be, I hope that one day I can accomplish that and help them feel more in love with themselves. I genuinely feel strongly about that, so hopefully I can accomplish it.

Suhana said, "To be honest, I don't handle it very well, but I'm trying," in response to a question about how she manages social media and the attention it brings. Strangely, having to deal with hurtful remarks has increased my appreciation for kindness. Meeting real people and witnessing their warmth towards you, especially girls, is heartwarming. Since one is reality and the other is not, that really helps me to distinguish between the two.

When asked where Suhana saw herself in five years, she said, "I'm not sure. In five years, hopefully, I'll be working on a project I love and contributing to global change.

Day 57 of the Israel-Hamas war: Over 175 people are killed by Israeli strikes in Gaza after the ceasefire is broken | Top 10 updates

Following the conclusion of a seven-day cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) launched attacks on homes and structures, resulting in the deaths of at least 178 people in the first few hours of fighting on Saturday morning throughout the Gaza Strip. Hezbollah militants and Israel engaged in combat as Gazan militants started firing rockets into Israel once more. Israel claimed to have hit over 200 Hamas targets.

Updates on the Israel-Hamas conflict are as follows:

  • Early on Saturday, various locations on the outskirts of Damascus were struck by Israeli airstrikes, according to Syrian official media. According to the report, the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights was the source of the strikes. Israel began attacking targets in Syria on October 7 and has since carried out multiple strikes there.
  • The truce agreement, which saw Israel suspend most military operations in Gaza and free 300 Palestinian prisoners in return for militants releasing more than 100 hostages held in Gaza, is being renewed by Qatar.
  • According to Israel, there are still 115 adult men, 20 women, and 2 children in captivity.
  • More than 13,300 Palestinians have died since the truce started, with women and minors making up about two-thirds of the dead, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza, which is ruled by Hamas.
  • A senior Hamas official rejected a demand to release female Israeli soldiers on Friday, but stated that his organisation is amenable to exchanging more Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
  • According to the US, Israel will likely start letting some humanitarian aid into Gaza once more. On Friday, the US blocked aid after a temporary cease-fire expired.
  • Three residents of an Israeli town have reportedly perished in Hamas custody, including the oldest hostage. The community of Kibbutz Nir Oz was informed that 56-year-old Maya Goren, 86-year-old Arye Zalmanovich, and 54-year-old Ronan Engel had passed away.
  • An Israeli man who was initially believed to be held captive in Gaza has had his body recovered by the Israeli army. The army said in a statement that Israeli forces had found Ofir Tzarfati's body in Gaza.
  • Israel has started to carry out plans for civilian protection in an effort to lessen Palestinian casualties while it battles Hamas in Gaza, the US said on Friday.
  • Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said on Friday that he had spoken with Israeli Minister Benny Gantz and insisted Israel must respect international law, a day after Israel ordered its ambassador to return to Spain for consultations.
  • The militant Hezbollah organisation in Lebanon claims that on Friday, its fighters ambushed a group of Israeli soldiers near the border with Lebanon. Since Israel and Hezbollah's ally, Hamas, the Palestinian militant organisation, declared a truce last Friday, this is Hezbollah's first attack against Israeli troops along the border.
  • After setting themselves on fire in front of the Israeli consulate in Atlanta, Georgia, a protester in the US is in critical condition. The demonstration on Friday included a Palestinian flag that was discovered there. None of the consular employees was ever in danger, and the police did not think there was a link to terrorism.

Losing Weight: Move Beyond the Treadmill: Creative Exercise Methods To Remain Fit

A treadmill can be a very effective tool for weight loss and calorie burning. Running or walking on a treadmill is a simple piece of exercise equipment that can aid in weight loss more quickly than other at-home workout equipment like an exercise bike. Notwithstanding their effectiveness, treadmills might not be a good fit for everyone, and treadmill workouts alone might not be enough to help some people lose weight.

Fitness and performance expert Kushal Pal Singh of Anytime Fitness says, "The treadmill has been a reliable ally for many when it comes to fitness, but it's not a one-size-fits-all answer. Its monotonous nature might not be to everyone's taste, particularly for those looking for interesting and varied exercises. Particularly because building a healthy body requires strength training as well, and the treadmill only concentrates on cardio."

Who Shouldn't Run on a Treadmill?

According to Singh, the treadmill may not be ideal for people who want variety in their workouts. "Some people find the continuous motion monotonous, and others have joint problems that are exacerbated by the repetitive impact." Furthermore, people who have had knee injuries in the past, have weaker joints, are obese, have diabetes, or have cardiovascular problems should not use treadmills on a regular basis."

Why Should You Extend Your Search Past the Treadmill?

According to Singh, there is a world of exercise diversity waiting to be discovered beyond the treadmill. "Variety isn't just the spice of life; it's also the driving force behind a well-rounded fitness regimen." "Diversifying workouts not only prevents boredom, but it also targets different muscle groups and challenges the body in novel ways," Singh explains.

Fitness and Weight Loss: Exercises and Their Advantages

Kushal Pal Singh provides the following exercises and their associated benefits:

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training): HIIT offers time-efficient workouts with metabolism-boosting benefits by incorporating short bursts of intense activity followed by brief recovery periods.

Yoga and Pilates: These practises improve balance, posture, and overall wellness by focusing on flexibility, core strength, and mind-body connection.

Strength Training: Using resistance and weights, strength training increases muscle mass, metabolism, and bone strength.

Group fitness classes, ranging from dance-inspired workouts to martial arts-based sessions, foster community, motivation, and fun while burning calories.

"Each exercise form has its unique advantages, catering to different fitness goals, whether it's weight loss, muscle toning, or enhancing flexibility and endurance," Singh explains.

Additional Exercise Advice

Outdoor Activities: For a welcome change of pace and a dose of vitamin D, Singh suggests embracing nature with pursuits like hiking, cycling, or outdoor boot camps.

Technology-Driven Workouts: The trainer continues, "Apps that gamify fitness routines or virtual reality workouts offer an inventive and captivating twist to exercising."

Practises for Mindful Movement: One should also practise Tai Chi or meditation, which place a strong emphasis on slow, methodical movements that ease tension and enhance balance.

"Fitness innovation has no boundaries. Changing up your workouts to keep things interesting also guarantees overall fitness growth, which helps you avoid burnout and plateaus. In summary, although the treadmill is convenient, venturing outside of its walls provides access to a plethora of varied exercise choices. People can sculpt their bodies and their overall well-being by embracing innovation and trying out different exercises, according to Singh.

Delhi: After briefly entering the severe category on Thursday, the air quality is extremely poor.

Even though forecasts indicated no significant change in meteorological conditions over the weekend, Delhi's air quality improved to the very poor category on Friday morning after briefly entering the severe zone on Thursday. During the day, wind speeds were predicted to reach five to six km/h, and the quality of the air was expected to stay extremely low. During the day, five to six km/h winds are expected in the Capital, and the extremely poor air quality is expected to persist.

At noon on Friday, the 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) was 378 (very poor). On Thursday, the air quality index was 398 (very poor) at 4 p.m., and by 7 p.m., it had deteriorated to 401 (severe).

On Friday, the minimum temperature of 13.3°C was three degrees higher than average. It was Thursday, 12.6°C. It was expected that the wind would continue to be easterly on Friday and then shift to the northwest on Saturday. By Sunday, the minimum temperature was predicted to fall to 11°C. The high will remain at about 25°C until Sunday.

In November, Delhi experienced nine days with extreme air quality, with the AQI exceeding 400. Additionally, it noted nine more days with an AQI between 390 and 400 that was close to being severe. 18 near-severe or severe air days were reported in the Capital in November, the most since 13 such days were reported in November 2021 and 11 in November 2016.

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) reported on Thursday that Delhi experienced an average wind speed of four km/h in November, which is comparatively low. There were extended periods of calm winds. Ten kilometres per hour on average is an effective wind speed for dispersing pollutants.

November saw far fewer paddy farm fires in Punjab and Haryana than it had in the previous three years, according to CAQM. It claimed that extremely unfavourable weather and climatic conditions greatly increased Delhi's PM2.5 load. "This year's Deepawali festival fell during the height of the paddy harvesting season in Punjab and Haryana, exacerbating the air pollution..."

Who Is Nikhil Gupta, the Man Allegedly Accused of Killing Terrorists in Khalistan?

New Delhi: Indian national Nikhil Gupta is accused by US federal prosecutors of planning to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who is a dual citizen of the US and Canada, on US soil by working with an Indian government official.

Gupta is alleged to have attempted to hire a hitman; however, the hitman was actually a US federal agent operating undercover. 52-year-old Gupta is being held in the Czech Republic in anticipation of being extradited to the United States. If found guilty, he could spend up to 20 years in prison.

The Storyline

A prominent Indian official, whose identity has not been disclosed, is accused of masterminding the plot to kill Pannun in New York City. The Financial Times claimed last week that US authorities had discovered the Pannun assassination plot, but it did not provide any identifying information.

The Indian official, identified as "CC-1" in an indictment, is accused by US federal prosecutors of masterminding a plot to kill "an attorney and political activist who is a US citizen of Indian origin residing in New York City" from India.

"In a series of phone calls and emails exchanged over encrypted applications beginning in or around early May 2023, CC-1 requested that Gupta set up the victim's murder in exchange for CC-1's help in getting a criminal case against Gupta in India dropped. Gupta consented to carry out the assassination plan. To further the plot, Gupta met CC-1 in person in New Delhi in addition to their electronic communications, according to the US Department of Justice indictment.

The Indian government employee allegedly wrote Gupta a message on May 6, 2023, while they were chatting on an encrypted messaging app, saying, "This is (CC-1)... Put my name in the CC-1 Alias field. Gupta put CC-1's phone number in an alias and saved it. Subsequently, another message was received by Gupta from CC-1, stating that they had a "target in New York" and another in "California," as per the indictment.

Following CC-1's orders, Gupta allegedly asked someone he thought was a criminal associate—but who was actually a confidential informant for the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)—for help hiring a hitman to kill Pannun in New York City.

Then, through a deal supposedly arranged by Gupta, CC-1 and the undercover agent agreed that CC-1 would pay $100,000 for the assassination. Gupta was detained in the Czech Republic in June 2023 at the US's request; the US had labelled him an "international narcotics trafficker".

In response

India declared that a high-level probe committee would conduct a thorough investigation into the US claim that a government official was masterminding a murderous scheme on American soil, referring to the claim as a "matter of concern".

At a press conference on Thursday, Arindam Bagchi, a spokesperson for the External Affairs Ministry, stated, "This is a matter of concern as regards the case against an individual that has been filed in a US court, allegedly linking him to an Indian official." "We have said and let me reiterate that this is also contrary to government policy."

The US has praised India's investigation efforts.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Thursday, "We look forward to seeing the results of the investigation that the (Indian) government announced today. That's good and appropriate." So you'll understand that I'm unable to provide a detailed comment. I can affirm that we take this very seriously. In recent weeks, several of us have brought up this issue directly with the Indian government."

Telangana Assembly Elections 2023: According to a survey, Congress will win and BRS will be the main opposition party

The Congress is expected to emerge as the single largest party with its least predicted number of seats, very close to the magic figure, according to a pre-poll survey by Aaraa Poll Strategies Private Limited. Though he might win Gajwel, it predicted that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao would lose to his Bharatiya Janata Party opponent, Venkata Ramana Reddy, in Kamareddy.

The poll projects that Congress will prevail in 58 out of 67 seats, dropping the ruling BRS party to second place with 41–49 seats. With a sharp decline in votes cast compared to its previous high, the BJP will win five to seven seats.

With 41.13% of the total valid votes cast, Congress might win, and BRS might come in second with 39.58%. The BJP is expected to garner 10.47% of the total votes cast.

The agency's founder and chairman, Shaik Mastan, blamed the election results primarily on the public's discontent with the family running BRS.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Mr Mastan stated that the survey had credibility because it was operational until the day before the polling, and he further stated that it was not feasible for any organisation to gather enough participants for exit polls.

Predictions indicate that Congress will gain ground in Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Warangal, and Khammam, while BRS is expected to win the majority of seats in Ranga Reddy and Karimnagar constituencies. The BJP may win both of the Adilabad seats, which would also benefit Nizamabad.

According to the survey, Jupally Krishna Rao of the Congress is expected to win the Kollapur constituency, even though Karne Shireesha, also known as Barrelakka, is expected to cause significant damage.

He said, "BJP has affected BRS in terms of seats and Congress party in terms of vote share."

He claimed that choosing candidates more than three months in advance was detrimental to BRS since funding ran out just before election day.
