Makan Marmat Yojana: ₹80,000 will be given by the government to repair a damaged home. This is how you can take advantage of this scheme's benefits.

Makan Marmat Yojana

Makan Marmat Yojana: The Government of Haryana has introduced a major program called the "Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojana" (Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Housing Renovation Scheme) in an attempt to improve the living conditions of economically disadvantaged groups. Through this program, the state government hopes to give qualified Haryana residents up to ₹80,000 in financial aid for the restoration and repair of aging and run-down homes.

This program is a significant step toward guaranteeing that impoverished families, particularly those who lack the resources to perform necessary maintenance on their own, can live in safe, secure, and decent housing conditions.

Makan Marmat Yojana: The Scheme's Primary Goal

The scheme's main goal is to assist low-income families in improving their old, dangerous homes so they can live better lives. Many families continue to live in unsafe, structurally deficient homes in Haryana's rural and urban areas. The government hopes to assist these households in renovating their homes so they are both livable and structurally sound through this program.

In addition to improving housing, the program seeks to uphold social dignity and encourage inclusive development, particularly for the less fortunate and economically disadvantaged segments of society.

  • Makan Marmat Yojana: Qualifications to Participate in the Program

The Haryana government has established particular eligibility requirements in order to guarantee that the scheme's benefits are received by the most deserving people:

  1. Haryana resident: The candidate needs to be a Haryana permanent resident.
  2. Annual Family Income: Families with lower incomes are the target of the program. As a result, the family's annual income shouldn't be more than ₹1.80 lakhs.
  3. Ownership of the Home: The home that requires repair must belong to the applicant.
  4. Age of House: At the time of application, the house in question must be at least ten years old.
  5. Criteria for Land Ownership:
    • In urban areas, the candidate must be the owner of a pucca, or permanent, home that is at least 35 square yards in size.
    • In rural areas, the house should be at least fifty square yards.
    • A certificate from the village secretary (gram sachiv) attesting to ownership will be accepted if the applicant in a rural area does not own a registered property.
These prerequisites guarantee that the program directly helps people who are truly in need and residing in subpar housing.

  • Required Documents for the Makan Marmat Yojana Application

To prove their eligibility, applicants who wish to participate in the program must submit a number of required documents. Among them are:

  1. Pictures of the House Before Renovations: To illustrate the state of the house today.
  2. The purpose of this proposed post-renovation photo is to give a visual representation of the desired result.
  3. Bank Account Information Associated with Aadhaar: For the purpose of transferring the aid funds directly.
  4. The estimated cost of repair work is a simple quote or cost estimate.
  5. An income certificate attesting to a yearly income of ₹1.80 lakhs or less.
Before the application is accepted or denied, all supporting documentation must be delivered to the District Welfare Officer's Office for verification.

  • Step-by-Step Instructions for the Makan Marmat Yojana Application Process

It is convenient for citizens to apply from the comfort of their homes because the Haryana Housing Renovation Scheme application process is entirely online. Interested candidates can do the following:

  1. Check out the official website at https://saralharyana.gov.in.
  2. Register or sign in with your login information.
  3. In the services section, look for "Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojana."
  4. Provide accurate personal, financial, and real estate information on the application form.
  5. All necessary documents should be uploaded in the format specified.
  6. Fill out the application and save a copy of the acknowledgement for your records.
Following a successful submission, district-level officials will review the application. The grant will be processed and credited to the applicant's registered bank account upon approval.

  • How Will the Financial Assistance of ₹80,000 Be Given?

The government will immediately deposit ₹80,000 into the applicant's Aadhaar-linked bank account upon approval of the application. This sum is a non-refundable grant rather than a loan. The government has established stringent guidelines for the appropriate use of the funds, though.

The full sum must only be utilized for home remodeling. The government has the right to file a lawsuit and recoup the money if any fraud or misuse is found.

Beneficiaries are therefore strongly encouraged to use the grant truthfully and solely for the purpose for which it was intended.

  • Why Does Haryana Need This Scheme So Much?

Despite Haryana's quick industrial growth, a sizable portion of the population still consists of low-income, rural families whose homes are in poor structural condition. These families frequently lack the funds necessary to perform even simple repairs.

This exact issue is addressed by the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojana, which provides these families with direct financial assistance to upgrade their housing. This not only improves their quality of life but also fosters social inclusion, safety, and improved health.

The program also has symbolic meaning because it is named after Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, a pivotal figure in India's struggle for social justice, demonstrating the government's dedication to improving underprivileged areas.

  • Financial Misuse: Repercussions and Legal Action

Strict guidelines about the use of grant funds have been issued by the Haryana government. The government will start the process of recovering the funds if it is discovered that any beneficiary is using them for things other than home repair, like personal expenses or fabricating information to receive the benefit.

Legal action may also be taken in extreme situations. In order to ensure that this admirable initiative fulfills its intended purpose, the government urges all applicants to apply and use the funds with honesty and transparency.

  • Final Thoughts

The government of Haryana has taken a timely and very beneficial step with the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Housing Renovation Scheme. It fosters social justice and inclusivity in addition to addressing the physical safety and wellbeing of low-income families residing in dilapidated homes. The program makes sure that even the state's poorest households can live comfortably, securely, and with dignity by offering up to ₹80,000 for home repairs.

Individuals who fit the requirements are urged to apply online and utilize this program to the fullest extent possible in order to raise their standard of living.

8th Pay Commission: A big blow to central workers; the fitment factor will be this much instead of 2.86.

8th Pay Commission

8th Pay Commission: There is a significant update that may disappoint you if you work for the Central Government as well.

Concern has been raised by recent events for the thousands of government workers in India who were anxiously awaiting a sizable pay increase through the 8th Pay Commission. There appears to be less excitement than anticipated for the revision of the fitment factor, which is a key factor in deciding pay increases.

Let's take a closer look at what this means for workers in the Central Government and the latest information on the 8th Pay Commission.

Crushed Expectations: Fitment Factor Might Not Rise as Anticipated

The 8th Pay Commission raised expectations among central government workers, particularly with regard to the fitment factor, which has a direct impact on the basic pay increase. At first, rumors and conversations suggested that the fitment factor might be changed to 2.86, which would have led to a significant pay increase.

Recent reports, however, indicate that the government intends to maintain the fitment factor at 1.92. This figure indicates only a modest pay increase and is much less than what the workers had anticipated. According to a number of economists, raising the fitment factor above 1.92 would be extremely costly for the government and less practical given the state of the economy.

Why Does Fit Matter So Much?

The updated base pay for government workers is determined by multiplying the fitment factor. Employees anticipated a jump to at least 2.86 in the upcoming 8th Pay Commission, as it was 2.57 under the 7th Pay Commission.

If the 2.86 factor were applied, for instance, an employee currently receiving ₹18,000 in basic pay (according to the Level 1 pay matrix) would see an increase in their monthly salary to ₹51,480. However, the new salary would only be ₹34,560 per month with the suggested 1.92 fitment factor. The expectations of lakhs of workers have been severely damaged by this discrepancy of almost ₹17,000.

Why Doesn't the Government Want to Raise It?

According to a number of reports, the central government is worried about how a high fitment factor will affect its finances. Given that more than one crore central government employees and pensioners stand to gain, implementing a 2.86 fitment factor across the board could result in a significant increase in government salary expenditures.

The government is trying to strike a balance between the needs of its workers and fiscal responsibility in light of the current fiscal pressures, which include welfare programs, infrastructure development, subsidies, and debt repayment. For this reason, the 1.92 fitment factor proposal is thought to be more realistic.

The 8th Pay Commission's status is that the formation process has begun.

The 8th Pay Commission has not yet been formally established. Reports, however, affirm that the formation process is in progress. Since the 7th Pay Commission was established in 2016, it is generally anticipated that the 8th Pay Commission will be established by 2026. Traditionally, a new pay commission is established every ten years.

Following its formal formation, the commission will consult with various ministries, financial experts, and employee unions before starting to draft recommendations. Following their submission to the government for approval, the finalized recommendations will be put into effect.

Economic Gains for More Than One Crore of Recipients

More than 1 crore central government employees and pensioners are anticipated to directly benefit from the 8th Pay Commission's implementation. Additional financial benefits, such as higher allowances, pension revisions, and new incentives, will be implemented in addition to the basic salary increase.

Any increase, even a modest one, will eventually improve government employees' take-home pay and post-retirement benefits, despite the initial disappointment caused by the lower fitment factor.

Hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) beginning in July 2025

In addition to the Pay Commission, the Dearness Allowance (DA), which is updated twice a year in January and July, is another element that frequently provides some respite to workers. Employees of the central government currently receive a 55% DA.

It is anticipated that the DA may be raised by 4% starting in July 2025, bringing the total to 59%. This hasn't been formally confirmed yet, though, because the All-India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AICPI-IW), which accounts for changes in cost of living and inflation, will be used to make the final decision.

Following an analysis of the AICPI data through June 2025, the official DA hike will be declared.

Employee and Union Reactions

Employees and several unions have not taken well to the news of a potential lower-than-expected fitment factor. Many have voiced their displeasure and worries, claiming that a more generous salary revision is necessary due to inflation and growing living expenses. It is anticipated that employee unions will exert pressure on the government to reexamine the suggested fitment factor, calling for the maintenance, if not an increase, of at least a 2.57 factor (as observed in the 7th CPC).

Employee associations may plan representations or talks to make their demands heard more forcefully in the upcoming months.

Conclusion: Employees of the Central Government Face Mixed News

In conclusion, the recent revelations about the fitment factor have caused worry and disappointment, even though the 8th Pay Commission is anticipated to provide financial relief to government workers and pensioners. Despite being economically advantageous for the government, the suggested 1.92 fitment factor does not meet employee expectations.

Additionally, employees will have to wait patiently for official updates in the upcoming months as there has been no formal announcement regarding the commission's formation. Some short-term respite may be offered by the July 2025 revision to the Dearness Allowance, but long-term gains depend on the 8th Pay Commission's equitable and successful execution.

As the process progresses, workers and retirees nationwide will be closely monitoring it in the hopes that their contributions will be appropriately acknowledged with a significant and equitable pay increase.

Producers reveal in a scathing post that Deepika Padukone will not be starring in the Kalki 2898 AD sequel, saying, "This film deserves commitment."

In Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika Padukone portrays a pregnant woman.

For fans of Deepika Padukone, production company Vyjayanthi Movies has made a heartbreaking announcement. The sequel to Kalki 2898 AD will not feature her.

Deepika Padukone was taken out of the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.

"This is to formally announce that @deepikapadukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel of #Kalki2898AD," they wrote on Twitter. We have made the decision to part ways after giving it some thought.

Additionally, the tweet seemed a bit too critical, as though it accused Deepika of not committing fully to the position. "We failed to establish a collaboration despite the protracted process of producing the first movie. And a movie like @Kalki2898AD is worthy of that dedication and more. We hope she does well in her future endeavours.

Deepika co-starred in Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. Deepika played a crucial part in the film and was anticipated to play the lead in the follow-up.

Responses from online

Fans responded to the post in a bewildering manner. One person wrote, "Nag Ashwin should be prepared to face the music from Deepika fans." Someone else speculated, "I don't think it's the effect of Prabhas/Spirit; it might be something else."

Citing similar problems, Deepika also left co-star Prabhas' Spirit a few months ago. Prior to this, Deepika was in negotiations to play the lead in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next action movie. But following her alleged departure from the project, rumours circulated that she had asked for an 8-hour workday, a cut of the movie's earnings, and the avoidance of speaking Telugu during her dialogue—conditions that the director reportedly did not approve of. Triptii Dimri eventually took her place.

In addition, fans are proposing other actors for Deepika's part. Keerthy Suresh was cast as Sumathi @nagashwin7. We have the best talent and are ideal for the position! 🤍 Another suggested "Lokah movie's @kalyanipriyan." Someone commented, "I'm glad she's not in this franchise. She acted in scenes that literally lacked emotion. Even Mrunal Thakur's facial expressions improved during her brief appearance on screen.

An IPS officer warns of a scam as the "Nano Banana" Gemini trend picks up steam.

People are attempting to create vintage-style portraits from their photos using Google's AI tool.

Online trends nano banana can be entertaining, but if users are irresponsible with their personal information, they could put themselves in danger.

September 16, 2025, New Delhi — Law enforcement is now warning against what began as a harmless online trend: using Google Gemini's "Nano Banana" tool to turn photos into old-fashioned Bollywood portraits. V.C. Sajjanar, an IPS officer, has warned social media users that seemingly innocuous actions can have serious consequences.

Gemini's Nano Banana trend is causing a crazy frenzy. Everybody on social media is attempting to create vintage-style portraits with their photos using Google's AI tool. Despite its initial fascination, an IPS officer has cautioned that it could result in financial loss.
On X (formerly Twitter), IPS officer VC Sajjanar warned users about the risks associated with disclosing personal information online. He emphasised that although following trends online can be entertaining, users who are irresponsible with their personal information run the risk of suffering major consequences.

"Be wary of popular topics on the internet! He wrote, "Stumbling into the Nano Banana trending craze... if you share personal information online, such scams are bound to happen."

The IPS officer advised people to use caution and upload their images only to the official website—not to phoney websites or unapproved apps. "Criminals can access the funds in your bank accounts with a single click."

He advised people to only give their personal information and images to reputable and validated websites and applications. He wrote, "Remember that safety should be your first priority, but you can share your happy moments on social media trends."

Sajjanar also cautioned against using unidentified websites and apps. "You're bound to fall into a pit if you step onto an unseen path," he said. Before uploading your pictures or private information, give it some thought.

According to him, internet trends frequently gain popularity right away but eventually lose it. Trends pass quickly, but the effects of careless data sharing can linger for a long time. These new trends are frequently exploited by scammers to take advantage of users.

"These trends appear, create a stir for a few days, and then fade away... It's hard to get your data back once it's on phoney websites or unapproved apps," he continued.

He said, "In the end, you are in charge of safeguarding your financial information and personal data online."

A post that claims that a woman who jumped on the newest Banana AI saree trend on Google Gemini felt "creepy" is going viral in the midst of this trend. She uploaded a picture of herself wearing a saree, and to her surprise, the AI produced an image showing a mole on her body.

"How does Gemini know that I have a mole in this area of my body? This mole is visible to you; it's eerie and frightening. "How this happened is still a mystery to me," she wrote.

She cautioned others to exercise caution when posting anything on social media and AI platforms after sharing her experience on Instagram.

All new Bajaj Pulsar N125 Launched and is now available with a powerful 60Kmpl mileage and a stylish look.

Bajaj Pulsar N125

Bajaj Pulsar N125: A Small Pulsar With a Big Attitude

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is like the youngest child in a family that always wants to show off. It's the smallest, but it's always ready to make a point. Bajaj calls it an entry-level naked sports bike, and it's basically their way of saying to college kids, "Yes, you can look cool without selling your kidneys."

This bike isn't just for getting to work; it's also a stylish daily companion that says, "Sure, I'll get you to class, but let's look like superheroes on the way." The N125 is both affordable and Instagram-worthy because it has the right mix of style, performance, and fuel economy.

Mini Hulk in Sports Gear:

The Pulsar N125 looks like it has been working out at the gym at first glance. It has a muscular tank, sharp edges, and sporty graphics. It gets its DNA from the bigger Pulsar "N" series, so even though it's the youngest, it acts like it owns the road.

The LED headlamp isn't just for seeing; it's like wearing sunglasses inside. The sharp panels, layered side profiles, and bold tank design make it look like a sports bike that got smaller in the wash. It screams, "Don't call me a commuter," whether it's still or moving.

Small but powerful engine and performance

There is a 124.45cc single-cylinder engine under all that muscle. It's not a fire-breathing dragon, but it is a very determined puppy. The throttle response is smooth, the gear shifts are easy, and the clutch is light enough that your left hand won't complain.

Top speeds won't make race announcers lose their voices, but they're perfect for driving around town and on the highway every now and then. With its 5-speed gearbox, you'll be able to get through traffic quickly and maybe even beat that auto-rickshaw that thinks it's in Fast & Furious.

Fuel Efficiency: You'll Save Money

The N125 consumes fuel cautiously and slowly, much like a well-mannered partygoer. Depending on whether you ride like a responsible adult or like you're trying out for a Bollywood action chase, you should expect to get between 50 and 60 km/l. In any case, fewer trips to the gas pump translate into more money for EMI payments, Maggi, or chai.

Chill Mode Activated for Comfort and Ride Quality

"You won't need a chiropractor after riding" is bike jargon for the ergonomic seating position. The footpegs don't make you feel like you're squatting at the gym, the handlebars are in the right places, and the seat is sufficiently cushioned for weekend excursions and short rides.

A suspension? The ride is stable and comfortable thanks to a mono-shock at the back and telescopic forks up front. At least you won't feel like you're trying out for a rodeo, even though city potholes will still exist.

CBS (Combi-Brake System) is in charge of handling braking duties; it's essentially the bike's way of saying, "Don't worry, I'll cover for you if you panic brake."

Features: Traditional and Tech-Aware

The instrument cluster is a hybrid; the trip information, speed, and fuel are digital (so you don't have to squint), while the tachometer is analog (so you can still feel like an old-school biker). The overall construction is sturdy enough to withstand the chaos of the city, and LED lighting keeps things up to date.

Yes, it lacks traction control and forks that are upside-down, but really, it's a 125cc, not a Ducati Panigale.

Cost: Chic on a Budget

The N125 is essentially the "affordable cool kid" of motorcycles, with an ex-showroom price range of about ₹90,000 to ₹1,00,000. It's less expensive than your Netflix, gym, and coffee subscriptions put together, with EMI options starting at about ₹3,000 per month. Additionally, because Bajaj parts are widely available and mechanics are as familiar with Pulsars as aunts are with family lore, maintenance is inexpensive.

Conclusion: Big Character, Little Engine

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is not intended to win MotoGP or set speed records. However, it performs its functions admirably: it looks good, rides smoothly, sips fuel, and gives you the impression that you are a part of the Pulsar heritage without having to sell your organs.

The N125 is an example of how sometimes the most sensible fun comes in smaller packages, making it ideal for college students, novice riders, and anyone else who wants to look sporty without breaking the bank.

To put it briefly, it's the entry-level bike that defies appearances. 💥

The newly released Ultraviolette F77 will have a powerful engine and a 323-kilometer range.

India's first "spaceship on two wheels" is the Ultraviolette F77.

With the Ultraviolette F77 at its core, the Indian electric two-wheeler market is booming like a cell phone on silent. This beast is essentially Iron Man's armour on two wheels, so forget about your typical "battery scooter" that looks like it belongs in your grandmother's driveway. The F77, which was created and produced in India, is here to demonstrate that being environmentally friendly need not equate to being "boring."

This isn't your typical electric motorbike. Oh no. It's a performance-focused rocket that so perfectly combines speed, style, and cutting-edge technology that even car enthusiasts begin to reconsider their life decisions. The F77 is more than just a bike; it's a flex with aggressive styling, high-end features, and a range that will make your phone battery envious.

Design & Styling: Batman Wants His Bike Back After Calling

The Ultraviolette F77's first distinguishing feature is that it doesn't resemble the typical "EV scooter" that you see speeding around with shopping bags slung over the side. This appears to be a potential star of the upcoming Avengers film. It shouts, "I'm here to save the planet and scare your neighbours," with its sculpted tank, aggressive LED stare, and sharp aerodynamic body lines.

This isn't just about going green; it's also about going fast and looking mean while doing it, as evidenced by the split seats, high-end finishing, and small tail section.

Comfort and Riding Experience: Athletic but Not Suggested by a Chiropractic Professional

Though not so aggressive that you need yoga classes after a ride, the F77's riding posture is sporty enough to make you feel like Valentino Rossi's environmentally conscious cousin. You can use it for weekend trips or city commutes without experiencing any pain thanks to the clever ergonomics and well-padded seats.

The computer screen? A complete cockpit. It gives you speed, range, navigation, and even the ability to Bluetooth your phone, which is obviously what futuristic riding is all about—answering mom's call while travelling at 100 kmph.

Performance of Electric Motor: Instant Karma (and Instant Torque)

This is where things start to get crazy: a few seconds from 0 to 60 kmph. 140 kmph is the maximum speed. That's "fast enough to make you doubt your survival instincts," not just "fast for an EV."

Instant torque from the motor means there is no lag or drama—just pure whoosh. Additionally, you can enjoy the speed without worrying that your teeth will fall out because there are no vibrations. Motorcycles powered by petrol? I apologise, but your thunder and fuel money were just stolen by the F77.

Range & Battery: Lasts Longer Than Your Sunday Netflix Marathon

Anxiety about range? Ignore it. Depending on the mode, the F77 can travel between 300 and 373 kilometres on a single charge. This is essentially sufficient to travel from Delhi to Jaipur and still have battery life for Instagram stories.

With fast charging built in, this bike is already getting ready for round two, while your phone is barely able to reach 20% in 30 minutes. Yes, the bike charges itself a little when you apply the brakes when you have regenerative braking.

(Talk about outperforming the majority of us in terms of productivity.)

Advanced Features: The iPhone-like bike that updates

  • The F77 has enough technology to make your laptop envious:
  • A cluster of digital displays with a sophisticated user interface (in other words, it looks really cool).
  • Calls and messages can be made via Bluetooth (obviously ignore them when travelling at 120 kmph).
  • Several riding modes, including "Hold My Helmet," Sport, and Eco.
  • With GPS navigation on the screen, you can stop duct-taping your phone to the tank.
  • Free electricity, also known as regenerative braking.
  • Yes, your bike actually downloads updates via over-the-air software.

It's more like a "smartphone on steroids" than a "motorcycle."

Because Flying Off Corners Isn't Fun, Braking and Suspension

Dual-channel ABS disc brakes make sure you stop when you want to stop, not three feet later. The F77 has your back (and your bones) whether you're avoiding cows in town or leaning into corners on open roads thanks to the suspension's ability to balance city potholes and highway curves.

Prices are not low, but they also don't look this good.

The price ranges from about ₹3.80 lakh to ₹4.55 lakh. It is premium, indeed. Indeed, the price is higher than that of some people's first cars. However, you finance rather than argue when you're essentially purchasing the Tesla of two-wheelers. With EMI options starting at ₹8,000 to ₹10,000, you are essentially trading in your monthly pizza budget for a mobile spaceship. Is it worthwhile? Of course.

The F77—why?

Because it's a future flex, not just a bike. In addition to outrunning gasoline-powered motorcycles and saving the planet, you're also looking like a sci-fi hero.

For city dwellers, bikers, or anyone who wants to say, "Yes, I'm eco-friendly, but please don't blink while I overtake you," this is ideal.

Conclusion

The Ultraviolette F77 is not only the most cutting-edge electric motorcycle in India, but it also serves as a loud, silent reminder that the future has finally arrived. It is worth every rupee because of its futuristic appearance, insane performance, smartphone-like features, and Netflix marathon range.

The F77 is your vehicle if you want sustainability, speed, and style combined into one electric beast. Just be ready for random people to stop you at traffic lights and ask, "Bhai, yeh bike hai ya spaceship?" 🚀

Who is Prajwal's brother Suraj Revanna, who has been detained for suspected 'unnatural offences'?

Suraj Revanna (L), Prajwal Revanna's brother, was detained on a charge of "unnatural offences".(X/@iSurajRevanna)

Suraj Revanna, the brother of suspended JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, was detained on sexual assault allegations on Sunday following a complaint from a party worker. Suraj Revanna was arrested a day after being charged under several sections of the IPC, including "unnatural offences," for allegedly sexually assaulting a 27-year-old man a few days prior.

The complainant claimed that Suraj Revanna sexually molested him at his farmhouse in Ghannikada on June 16, allegations that the JD(S) leader strongly denied. Instead, he accused the complainant of attempting to extort money from him by threatening to file a bogus sexual assault claim against him.

Suraj's assistant, HL Shivakumar, submitted a complaint alleging that the JD(S) worker requested ₹5 crore, which was eventually lowered to ₹2 lakh. Suraj's assistant said that the JD(S) worker met with Suraj six months ago and again in June, looking for work. Suraj stated that he cannot now assist the man in finding work, but may consider it in the future. The man then requested ₹5 crore.

"I completely reject these charges. They are involved in a political plot. An FIR has also been filed against the complainant. Let the truth out. "I believe in the law of the land," Suraj Revanna stated.

Who is Suraj Revanna?

Suraj Revanna, a member of Karnataka's legislative council (MLC), is the oldest son of Holenarasipur MLA HD Revanna and grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. The whole Revanna family has been mired in scandal after pen drives with recordings of Prajwal Revanna with several women were discovered in Hassan.

Prajwal Revanna was arrested by the SIT at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on May 31 after returning from Germany, where he had been holed up after rape and intimidation charges were filed against him.

H D Revanna and his wife Bhavani are free on bail. They have been accused of kidnapping and harbouring an alleged victim of their son Prajwal's sexual crimes.

After the Centre announced the delay of the NEET-PG 2024 examination set for Sunday, various student bodies and doctor's groups expressed their dissatisfaction with the move, claiming that the country's education system had been "destroyed." They also sought a high-level investigation of the agency in charge of organising the NEET-UG and NEET-PG exams.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) completed the third landing experiment of the Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV LEX-03) dubbed 'Pushpak' on Sunday. According to a space agency release, the test took place at 07:30 IST at the Aeronautical Test Range (ATR) in Chitradurga, Karnataka.

ED contacts Apple to get Arvind Kejriwal's iPhone while it is being held, but encounters a password issue: Report

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, departs at Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday in New Delhi, India.

Arvind Kejriwal's Arrest: According to sources familiar with the matter, Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigators, who have been holding Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in custody for more than a week, have contacted Apple for assistance in accessing his iPhone.

According to the source, ED has formally contacted Apple, the phone's maker, in an attempt to acquire access to Kejriwal's iPhone. However, they were told that a password was necessary to get any data.

Senior authorities involved in the probe claimed that during interrogation, the Chief Minister stated that accessing his phone data and chats would offer information about the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) "election strategy" and pre-election alliances.

According to reports, the ED has recovered no electronic evidence from the Chief Minister's personal laptops or PCs. However, they seized four cell phones, including his. On March 21, his arrest resulted in the discovery of roughly ₹70,000 at his apartment, which was not seized. Sources informed IE that the Chief Minister had turned off his iPhone and had not divulged his password.

The Chief Minister informed the ED that he had been using the same phone for almost a year and that the device he used to create the liquor policy in 2020-2021 was no longer in his possession.

Earlier on Saturday, the ED quizzed Delhi minister Kailash Gahlot for around five hours and recorded his testimony in connection with a money-laundering inquiry into the AAP government's now-abolished excise policy.

Gahlot, 49, is an AAP politician and Najafgarh MLA who works as the minister for transport, home, and law in the Delhi government under Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has been detained in connection with the case by the federal agency.

According to reports, Gahlot was questioned about the formation of the excise policy for 2021-22 while serving in the Group of Ministers (GoM) alongside former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and former urban development minister Satyendar Jain.

Gahlot said he was summoned by the ED for interrogation in the matter because "probably I was part of the GoM..." It (the inquiry) included all areas of the policy, and I responded to the best of my knowledge and recall," PTI said.

At the age of 61, Andre Braugher, who starred in popular television series like "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Homicide: Life On The Street", passed away. After a brief illness, Braugher passed away on Monday, his publicist confirmed to CNN.

The actor, who was born in Chicago, made his screen debut in the 1989 film "Glory," which starred Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman and earned an Oscar for its portrayal of an all-Black army regiment fighting in the Civil War.

Despite this part, he admitted to The Associated Press in 2019 that he had trouble getting hired in Hollywood, where there were very few opportunities for African-American actors.

The NBC series "Homicide: Life on the Street" gave the actor his big break as conceited Detective Frank Pembleton. During its 1992–1998 run, the programme earned Braugher an Emmy for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

For a younger audience, Braugher's outstanding performance as Brooklyn Nine-Nine's deadpan Captain Raymond Holt will stick in their memories the most. During his eight seasons on the popular comedy show, he made appearances and was nominated for four Emmys.

As an actor known for dark and dramatic roles, Braugher's role in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" marked a significant change.

Braugher told AP, "I just felt like it was an opportunity to do something really different from the rest of my career." "I enjoy it because it merely challenges my preconceived notions and forces me to think differently. Thus, I believe that as an actor, I've become much more flexible and receptive to the vast array of options available to me when it comes to playing a scene.

Terry Crews, Braugher's "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" co-star, posted a memorial for the actor. "It's hard to believe you're gone already. It is a privilege to have had the opportunity to work, laugh, and watch your incredible talent with you for eight wonderful years. It hurts, Crews wrote.

The actor Joe Lo Truglio, who portrayed Charles Boyle in the programme, also posted a tribute to Braugher.

"I already miss him a great deal. Working with a man who understood the true meaning of the work was truly an honour. I'm grateful and feel blessed. Capt Holt, I miss you," he wrote.
