Alia Bhatt is overjoyed as her daughter Raha takes her first steps and refers to Ranbir Kapoor as her "not so little animal."

On Saturday, Alia Bhatt took to social media to congratulate her 'not-so-little animal' Ranbir Kapoor, who is receiving a lot of love for his latest film Animal. Alia also mentioned in her note that their daughter Raha took her first steps one day after Animal was released.

Alia took to Instagram to share a few photos of Ranbir with the caption, "For all that you are on and off camera." For your patience, silence, and love for your craft... and for being the person you are to your family. For making such significant strides as an artist... and for literally forcing our daughter to take her first steps today... Because you completely blew us away with your performance... & for making all of the above appear so simple Congratulations, my not-so-little animal."


Alia's first photo is a black and white portrait of Ranbir during the Animal promotions, with him surrounded by a sea of fans. In the second photo, Ranbir is seen caressing Raha in his arms while reading her "I Love Dad" book.

Alia's post was well-received by her fans and family members. Soni Razdan, Alia's mother, posted a few red heart emojis in the comments section of the post to express her love for her daughter Alia, son-in-law Ranbir, and granddaughter Raha. Karishma Kapoor, Ranbir's cousin, tweeted "". One of their admirers tweeted, "With each and every scene in Animal, we just fell in love with this MEGA SUPERSTAR STAR ALL OVER AGAIN ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ," while another said, "From Saawariya to Animal, it's been a treat to watch and adore you, Ranbir 🥰🥰🥰🥰."



Alia and Ranbir married in 2022, and their daughter Raha just turned one. Both actors have had a successful year in the movies. This year, Alia delivered Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh, which was directed by Karan Johar and was a box office success. Heart of Stone was also her Hollywood debut. Ranbir was previously seen in Luv Ranjan's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and now appears in Animal.

Netizens responded favourably to the trailer for the eagerly anticipated movie of the year, and multiple moments received special recognition for Ranbir Kapoor's intense acting. A social media user dubbed Ranbir the "greatest actor" after interacting with his on-screen father, Anil Kapoor, in a scene that received much attention. In the scene, Ranbir begs his father to play a younger version of himself to get permission to attend a Michael Jackson concert. Upon hearing Anil call out, "Papa, papa, papa," as a younger person, Ranbir yells, "Sunai de raha hai behra nahi hun main (I can listen, I'm not deaf)." How Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor depict the father-son bond is unique and captivating.

Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are also featured in the pan-Indian film, which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of the Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh renown. The film centres on the problematic relationship between a father and son. Extreme carnage in the underworld serves as the backdrop for it.

Animal, which is produced by T-Series, Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga, Bhadrakali Pictures, will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 1. 

With a duration of more than three hours, twenty-one minutes, and twenty-three seconds, the film has been awarded an 'A' certificate by the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC).
